Ethan Alexander Rainbolt (b. 1998) uses data and the internet as a material for fine art.

His practice incorporates the use of a vast toolkit for digital art creation. Hardware and software from the medical industry, live show controls, video games, artificial intelligence, and consumer technology are integrated to create artworks of lighting, sound, video, sculpture, and printed media.

Rainbolt currently leads technological efforts in the studio of Samuel Stubblefield. His work in this role includes works exhibited in the 2019 Venice Biennale, Art Basel Miami and the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum.

His work is represented by Cynthia Reeves Gallery.
